Job Summary
We are seeking a disciplined and analytically strong Junior Financial Advisor to support senior advisory teams in delivering investment solutions and portfolio strategies. The role involves portfolio construction support, quantitative analysis, and the structured preparation and distribution of market and technical insights, while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and client servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in constructing, monitoring, and maintaining client investment portfolios in line with approved asset allocation models, risk profiles, and investment objectives
- Monitor market trends and price action to prepare and disseminate technical analysis–based trade signals and market alerts, in accordance with internal research and compliance guidelines
- Proficient in risk assessment and management across multiple platforms to minimize client exposure and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support senior advisors in the preparation of investment proposals, portfolio review materials, and client-facing presentations
- Support portfolio performance monitoring and assist in rebalancing and optimization recommendations
- Prepare detailed performance analytics, return attribution summaries, and market intelligence reports
- Maintain accurate client and analytics data
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and suitability standards
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline (mandatory)
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, CMT, NISM or equivalent (preferred or in progress)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory, including financial modeling, pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis tools
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and financial tools
- Familiarity with technical analysis tools including chart patterns, trend identification, and momentum indicators will be considered a strong asset
- Fundamental understanding of equities, mutual funds, fixed income, ETFs, and other investment instruments
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with financial planning software, portfolio reporting tools, and CRM systems
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management support, research assistance, or investment operations
- Relevant internships or market research experience will be an advantage
